What’s the best way to apply the SEPHORA COLLECTION 12HR mattifying powder?
Take a little compact powder with the PRO weightless effect powder brush #91 or the Vegan Multitasker brush #6. Tap the brush handle on the back of your hand to remove excess powder. Apply the powder on your whole face to instantly mattify your complexion. Focus on the T zone (forehead, nose and chin) which are usually the shiniest areas. Use the Precision powder brush #59 to apply powder in the places that are most difficult to access, like the sides of the nose.
With or without foundation?
The 12HR finish mattifying powder can be use alone for a natural matte effect or as a touch-up over your foundation to mattify and perfect the makeup result.
What is a mattifying powder for?
It’s a finishing powder that’s applied as the last step of face makeup. It limits shine, which may make your makeup cake. It therefore improves its wear and gives you a fresh look all day long. Its use is recommended for combination to oily skin which is naturally prone to excess sebum.
Should I apply the powder before or after the foundation?
A mattifying fixing powder is always applied after a cream or liquid foundation. It can also be used alone, on naked, moisturised skin.
Should I use the powder before or after the blush?
It’s best to apply the powder after the blush. This step optimises the colour’s wear on your cheekbones.
